The Stormwater Curriculum and Teaching Guide was created in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum, the Earth Partnership for Schools, and the Madison Area Municipal Stormwater Partnership. The curriculum includes background information and a collection of activities to teach students about stormwater, the impacts too much stormwater runoff can have on our lakes, rivers and streams, and actions we can take to reduce stormwater pollution. The curriculum was designed for middle school students, but can be adapted to use with both younger and older students.
The Rain Garden Curricular Sampler is a collection of 15 activities to teach student about the benefits of rain gardens and walk them through the process of planning, designing, installing and maintaining one on their school site.
